Bookings
Do I need a referral?
For Medicare-rebatable imaging, yes. You will need a referral from your GP or specialist. Some services may be available without a referral. Contact us to confirm.
How do I book?
Book online via our website, call your nearest clinic directly, or ask your GP to send an e-referral.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Most patients can access same-day or next-day appointments for most services. Call us to check availability.
During your scan
Will my scan hurt?
The vast majority of imaging scans are completely pain-free. If contrast dye is used, there may be minor, brief discomfort from the injection. Our team will always prepare you for what to expect.
How long will it take?
X-rays take just minutes. MRI and CT scans typically take 15 to 45 minutes. Ultrasounds vary. We will give you an estimated duration when you book.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. If you would like support, please bring a family member or carer. We actively welcome this.
Results
When will I get my results?
Your results are reported by our radiologist and sent directly to your referring doctor. We aim for fast, reliable turnaround times. Urgent results will be conveyed directly to your GP/referrer.
How will I get my scan results?
Your radiologist’s report is sent directly to the doctor who referred you. They’re best placed to explain your results in the context of your health.
Billing
Which services are Bulk Billed?
Most of our diagnostic radiology services are 100% Medicare Bulk Billed. Ultrasound and Lung Cancer Screening (NLCSP) are Bulk Billed for eligible patients. A gap fee may apply for certain other services. We will always let you know upfront.
