X-rays are welcome on a walk-in basis. Please check your nearest Edison radiology clinic page for opening hours.

- A referral form from your practitioner GP specialist or other healthcare professional
- Healthcare card (if applicable)
- Department of Veteran Affairs card (if applicable)
- Medicare card (if applicable)
- Pension card (if applicable)
- Any relevant previous images

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a referral to book a scan?
Most services require a referral from a registered medical practitioner. Some X-rays can be booked without an appointment, but you’ll still need a valid referral on the day.
Can I use a referral from another radiology provider?
Yes. Edison Radiology accepts all valid referrals, even if they’re written or printed on another provider’s form.
How do I upload my referral?
Use the upload field in the booking form above, or email a clear photo or PDF to our team once your appointment is confirmed
How will I get my scan results?
Your radiologist’s report is sent directly to the doctor who referred you. They’re best placed to explain your results in the context of your health.
